TRICON TRI-BRAZE™ & SUPER-C™
For over fifteen years, IWM has been the Northland’s only authorized reseller of Tricon’s Tri-Braze™ and Super-C™ wear plate solutions. We carry a large inventory of Tri-Braze™ at our plant in Duluth, MN.
Tri-Braze is the next step in the evolution of abrasion and impact resistant alloy steels. This proprietary technology provides a combination of hardness, toughness, formability, and weldability that is unavailable in any other wear plate.
Tri-Braze is designed for extreme wear conditions. It is the perfect choice for liners, chutes, cutting edges, and blades in mining, quarrying, earth moving, manufacturing, paper, pulp, and material handling applications.
Available thicknesses at IWM: 3/16”, 1/4″, 3/8”, 1/2″, 3/4”

Tri-Braze™ designed to tackle your toughest abrasion and impact applications, Tri-Braze combines a balance of alloying elements with controlled heat treating and extremely low sulfur for an ideal hardness/ toughness ratio. Tri-Braze is the standard for by which all other impact and abrasion resistant alloy steels are measured.
Available thicknesses at IWM: 1” and 2”, also, we can order in sizes up to 10” thick.
Super-C™ is a chromium carbide overlay, wear-resistant plate with a mild steel base for weldability. Tricon’s unique serpentine cladding process produces a harder, tougher, and more wear-resistant surface, making Super-C™ superior to any other chromium carbide plate available on the market.
Over the years, IWM has heard many times from our customers that when they use Tri-Braze™ plate it outlasts AR400/AR500 plate 3-5 times longer, and it also outlasts all of its wear plate competitors.
